Bakara was a scholar and archeologist in his younger years, before getting possessed by a demon. He was found by Mahzarin outside the clan - doing Earthshaker knows what - and was brought to the clan's Exorcist, Arariel. He attempted to exorcise Bakara, but to no avail. Although the demon did not leave, Bakara turned back to his old self for a short while. He was offered a place in the clan by Nirmala, partly out of pity, partly due to seeing his potential. There was one condition though - he had to get regular check-ups on his mental state, or demon activity as he would say himself, by Arariel. Time passed by, and Bakara and Arariel fell in love and got married after a few years. With the help of his husband, Bakara managed to get a 'working relationship' with his demon. The demon helps Bakara stay calm, take calculated risks and know more about most dragons than he could and should know - all abilities that help Bakara greatly in his job as an Emissary. When Bakara returns to his own self, his anxiety comes into play once again, but his loving husband is always there to help him through it. (WIP)
