The Rough and Paranoid Fisherman

It doesn't do him any favors, he is sure, but Cid is a dragon that can be found in one of three places: Tending to the fish in the hatchery on Geoff and Sirrah's farm, fishing in one of the rivers, or drinking his life away at the Owlcat Tavern while ranting about the monster in the lake. If you call him mad he would agree with you whole heartedly. He knows what he says sounds insane, and he doesn't care.
Despite that, he is actually quite dedicated to his work and never lets hid fondness for drink or ranting get in the way of it, tending to the hatchery with a level of dedication that would rival the most doting of parents.
Fishing has always been his life, even when he lived in the tundra and had to ice fish. Back then it was a matter of survival: Fish was far more plentiful of a food source then hunting or gathering and cutting through the ice and getting something fatty could mean the difference between a well fed clan or hatchlings suffering a slow death of starvation.
He drinks when the memories come back to him and tends to his hatchery, the fish fat and lazy in his care as he glances across the lake to the Nursery and the well fed hatchlings in Micah's care.
Some might call him mad and paranoid of the 'monster' in the lake, but none can say he isn't dedicated to ensuring his clan is well fed.
So none judge him for the lost look in his eyes when asked of his former clan, or the way he drinks more deeply at the memories he'd rather forget.

Relationships

Helped him set up the Hatchery as part of the ranch. Loves his work, wishes Geoff would focus more on the sheep.

Surprisingly finds her antics fun, and welcomes her help at the Hatchery.

Doesn't know he told her his history while drunk. Appreciates that he keeps others away from him when his memories are to much.

We all must find solace somewhere, and the Icewarden no longer has his respect.
