Neirin
The Alicanto
A fickle, yet pure soul.

Personality

Neirin has a very childlike aura to him, he's generally happy, laughs easy and is quite mischeavous. If not for his size, you'd think he was a hatchling.
He is also childlike in his brutality, he has quick temper and throws tantrums, he also punishes anyone who tries to steal from him by throwing them off the cliffs his nest is perched upon. He hates theives.
In spite of his negative traits, he's quite a good soul that will do just about anything for you if you can manage to bond with him, he's quite fickle.
Neirin is very particular about the way his nest smells, he scavenges or trades for a lot of incense, potpourri,and perfumes.

History
Up in the Crags, hidden away in a cave is an alicanto. A mythical beast more bird than dragon that only consumes silver and gold and who's feathers carry that metallic sheen. He's a mischievous thing, enjoying guests and to play around with those who venture up into the mountain side. However, if he notices he is being followed to his food source, he will trick the pursuers into their doom. Unfortunately he cannot fly in order to chase or play, but Alicanto's such as he run fast and puffed up with wings spread.

You can find his cavern by smell if necessary, the scent of heavy incense, flower petals and perfumes. The lair is decorated in various bells and baubles strewn about with little to no order. Inside there is large nest covered in shimmering fabric with bells hanging off the side. A smaller bed is nearby for his guardian, the fawn like creature. Come to the lair and play, Neirin will release you. But come for treasure that is not yours, and you'll never be seen again.

Trivia

Dragon based off of a magical bird that eats silver and gold.
His familiar the Luminous Ambassador is more of a caretaker to him than a familiar, his sense of justice keeps Neirin from getting into too much trouble.
Neirin's name means "surrounded by light" or "noble" in Welsh. :)
