The cavern Nexus resides in is quite a sight to behold. Smooth rock walls embedded with glittering stones, and a floor of water with no discernible depth - polished to a mirror finish. Everything reflects perfectly. Nexus' presence lights the cavern with a red glow. He can show you almost anything he wishes to. The color changes depending on which dragon is in the center. Some say those who see the reflections go mad. Nexus claims to bring enlightenment in the reflections. He has come to open the eyes of the lost. |

Erzulie's travels tended to take her far and wide across Sornieth's lands. She's seen many dragons, many places, and even more creatures that lurked in the shadows just out of sight.
Now, she found herself in the middle of a gigantic cave system. She came searching for a peculiar dragon known to most as Nexus. A few dragons outside pointed her to this certain offshoot of tunnels, giving her suspicious looks.
Erzulie stood in front of the dark tunnel, and confidently started to pad her way in.
What she saw when the tunnel opened was truly a beautiful sight.
A large, almost rounded cavern with ceilings that arched high above her head. Glimmering stones and a rippling reflection sparkled against the smooth rock. She looked down, into the layer of water shrouding the ground beneath her feet. It looked almost red, much like the dim light in the cavern itself. It was as still as a mirror, and reflected her face perfectly.
It was almost completely silent in the cavern.
A ripple, coming from in front of her, stole her attention from admiring the sight. Erzulie snapped her head up, greeted by a dark red Wildclaw standing in the middle of the cave. It was rather short in length, but it's wings were more than twice the size of it's body - and larger in span than the Coatl's own body.
It held a single claw to the surface of the water, barely breaching the surface. It lifted its head to the female and opened its pale, almost yellow eyes.
His voice echoed in the enclosed space as he addressed Erzulie.
"I am Faceless Nexus of the Far Sky."
His name elicited a tremor from the ground beneath his feet, causing the reflections in the cavern to shiver.
"Visitors rarely ever find their way here. Some say this place is cursed. Some say it drives dragons who see it mad. Me? I bring great enlightenment within these reflections. After all, true enlightenment is what many seek in Sornieth, correct?"
His voice lowered, and a deep clicking sound was just barely audible.
"I have come to open the eyes of those who are lost. Tell me, wanderer, are you also lost?"

(extraterrestrial) Setting: His reflective cave - Personification of the end of everything - Lives in a reflective cave, shows dragons their ends and 'enlightens' them - Has a weird hangup on opening the eyes of the lost - Surprisingly gentle, just a little creepy - may know a few things about your dragons without being told - this isn't a 'he knows everything you did' moment, just a 'he sees things in the reflections sometimes' - respects old dragons (i.e. ancient beings, ect) - Asking for Nexus may result in an unexpected encounter with Hakidonmuya instead. |
