It's not a task he takes lightly, nor is it one he dreamed of taking up. His long history with the clan lead to the position sort of "falling in his lap" so to speak. Originally hatched Feb 7, 2018 from a two egg earth nest. Her sibling, the second egg, was an identical twin. After the introduction of eye types on June 7, 2018 she was rebred to have lightning unusual eyes. The parents were bred a total of ten times. Nine was in earth nests and one was in a lightning nest. After eight failed breeding attempts in earth, the original female finally hatched from the ninth nesting. The tenth was the last and final breeding. It was in a lightning nest and there were three eggs. One male with a rare eye type, one female with an unusual eye type and the last female with an uncommon eye type.
The battle of breeding
The parents were dead on in color, in primary gene and in tertiary gene. They differed by breed, the mother was a tundra and the father was a fae. They also differed by secondary gene, the mother had facet and the father had shimmer. The battle was for the right gender, breed, secondary gene and later, the right eye type.
