Galio the Stalwart is a member of Kondre's war-band, one of the Clan's strongest dragons and a noble soul.

Hatching on the same day as Kondre, Galio grew up alongside her and was a constant witness to all the events that shaped the Warlord in the dragon she is today. He was always fascinated by her bravery and her ruthless efficiency, and at some point this admiration developed into romantic feelings. Unfortunately, Kondre saw him as a brother and one of her best friends; when she shut down his feelings (with the curtness of a sword), the Snapper turned to the charms of Sorsha and had a short-lived affair before the Imperial ended it.

Battered and humbled but never broken, Galio continues to play an important part in the clan's activity, braving dangerous and unknown territory with a stalwart heart and an unblemished optimism.

Galio stands by the premises of chivalry and knighthood, often offering to help those in need and defend the helpless with little regard to his own safety. He is extremely loyal to Kondre, though rumors say that his feelings for her are still there, bellowing in the forge of his heart - however, he respects her too much to bother her with his affections again.
