Biography
Kyosei was once a well loved combat trainer, often taking young dragons who had never seen war and making them both strong and confident. He would fight alongside the dragons he trained until they were ready to join the larger regimen. In a particularly bad battle Kyo was struck in the throat with a broadsword and knocked unconscious. He awoke to all of his current trainees deceased.
Perhaps it was the throat injury, or perhaps it was the mental trauma but Kyosei found himself mute after the incident. He lay on the battlefield unable to call for help or out to any possible survivors. With great struggle he was able to drag himself to the tree line and rested there for several days, feeling like a failure and heartbroken from the loss of his team.
When he had gathered a bit of strength he began to limp back to his village, knowing he had to tell a messenger to reach the departed's families. A small golden flash caught his eye. In the destruction following the battle the earth was blown up and torn in many places. Moving a pile of debris Kyo pulled out dehydrated looking corn snake. This snake did not appear normal, and in fact it had a soft gentle gold glow to it. The snake wriggled in his claw, "Exxxxxcuse me, I can't seem to feel or move my sssspine. Pleasssse put me back and sssspare me my life, you've caussssed enough desssstruction to this area; my home. Let me die in peaccce! "
Kyo tilted his head and wrapped the snake around his neck
"Are you deaf?" spat the snake, "I think I made myself very clear"
Kyo continued to limp back to the village knowing that a torn up battlefield was no place for a snake void of movement. Eventually the snake realized that Kyo could understand him, but not speak. Moved by his act of kindness once they returned to the village the snake made a proposition to Kyo. The snake possesed an enchanted given to him by a firebug he had spared not long before the accident, wich must be paid forward to another creature; He was willing to bond himself to Kyosei's neck and act as his voice if Kyo would work as his body and gaurd.
Kyo agreed and now is able to communicate through Snake, who can read Kyo's thoughts. Kyo retains full control of his body, but is kind enough to take Snake places he asks to go.
The two of them do not want to see battle again, however Kyo can't help but feel he must continue to teach young dragons self defense and of the dangers of war. The two of them are new to the Faron region, and came searching for peace.
