Evanescence

A small she-dragon with a fierce attitude. Her past is unknown beyond she had children once before coming to Darkenhaze's lair. She came to the shadow lair with two others via Goldencrimson's request. Moonlitshadow, she has no interest in getting to know, but Nightwraith instantly caught her attention.

He's warm and always seems happy about something. Obviously instantly head -over-heels for the young mirror dragon, he tried his hardest to get to know her. Evanescence let him win her over easily, though scared of how his warm gaze makes him feel. Her mate has softened her heart, but she's weary to let her fierceness go with it.

She had five children with Nightwraith, but two have left the lair for two other lairs' friendship or protection. She's sad about this, as she often spends nights in her empty nest, lying where her eggs had been and crying. She's overjoyed to still have three of her children around her, and she longs to see the other two that were taken from her.

She'd decided to let them choose their own path, and she'll always support them. She spends most of her days with her mate, watching their remaining children play and pick on each other in amusement.

Evanescence is Darkenhaze's "left hand girl" , seeing as the Queen's mate is obviously second in command. Darkenhaze and Evanescence are quite close, referring to each other as sisters, despite not being blood related. Being the unnamed "deputy" of the clan, she helps watch the eggs and hatclings, along with keeping an eye on things whenever Darkenhaze is away.

One day Evanescence was approached by the faery dragon, Percy. He begged her to have eggs with him, since he's never had a mate. Taking pity on him, she agrees and they had three children. Stormbringer left to live somewhere else, and Percy took their son Darkheart with him when he left to serve their deity.

Evanescence is angry about Percy's leaving, as they never discussed it. It makes matters worse that he took one of their children with him. She tries to keep her last fae child safe and happy, but it's obvious he's not happy. She's afraid he's going to leave her, too.

Her mood has since fallen more as her son, Kokiri left to serve the Shadowbinder with the others. She'll never see him, or the others again, and she's hurt and angry over this. She contemplates if she should even have any more children.

She's become even more set on keeping her remaining children in the safety of the lair.
