Main Theme: The Dark Waltz

______ Fade and Shine looked down upon their nest as their eggs began to hatch. This was not their first time producing offspring; given how close the mated pair had become over the years they'd reproduced a number of times. Nonetheless they loved each of their new offspring just as much as those that had come before them; this nest would be no different. They watched carefully as their new hatchlings emerged from their eggs. They thought, as they had done before, how beautifully poetic the moment was. Ice melts under sunlight and makes glistening water; here they were, a dragon of ice and light with children of the Water Flight.

______ From the day she emerged from her egg Hidden stood out from her siblings in that she was nothing short of the perfectly equal combination of traits from both of her parents. She had colour more akin to that of her father, as well as visual genes more akin to his, but the Runes that her mother possessed. She shared her mother's kindness and caringly gentle nature, but remained somewhat reclusive like her father much of the time.

______ While Hidden was young her mother would sing her lullabies in order to soothe her to sleep at night. The soothing music carried by her mother's voice became something that Hidden was nothing less than enchanted by. It stayed with her even as she grew into adulthood. Eventually she began to sing herself, to the delight and awe of the clan she'd been born into. Hidden had what was, without doubt, the most beautiful singing voice that any of them had heard; even her mother was left in awe of her daughter's songs.

B I O G R A P H Y

______ Hidden is known to be an especially elusive dragon. She rarely stops by her birth clan's lair and instead has taken to wandering the depths of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, particularly within the darkness of the Leviathan Trench. Though she has her mother's kindness still she prefers to spend more time in her own company. She tends to become stressed if interacting with too many dragons at once. Fortunately her colouration and elemental allignment have proven to be a blessing for her in this case. Though their brightness marks her out from a mile away on the surface, red light cannot reach into the depths of the sea where she lurks; she is virtually invisible when she swims through those deep waters. The only ones she regularly spends time with are Maris, a Coatl hatchling whom she has taken under her wing, and a pod of Bicorn Whales with whom Maris and herself have become closely connected.

______ Though virtually impossible to track down by eyesight alone in the dark depths she calls home, her presence is still felt... or, rather, heard. Though she doesn't enjoy too much social interaction she delights in sharing her voice with others in the hope of brightening their day. In fact, The Sea of a Thousand Currents is the perfect place for her to do so. She can hide in the abyss and allow the currents to carry her beautiful voice unto those who would like to hear it. Some hear the beautiful songs brought to them by the water and think them to be from an angel or siren. Little do they know, however, that the beauteous singing comes from a dragon with a passion for what she loves but no need for thanks or praise.
