History
Lord Elauthin has little trouble getting his way, no matter the circumstances or situation at hand. His reputation precedes him, leaving the Imperial to rarely lift so much as a finger to turn things to his hand.

And even then, he has no qualms making people do the lifting for him.

He had always known he was destined for greatness. After all, Father and Mother had said so from the moment he was born. His older sister would make no heir to their lineage; neither would his younger twin-brother. It was him who would bear the torch. Him who would proudly continue their family name. And Lord Elauthin has grasped so firmly on to this destiny that it has led him to do all within his power to further his gain and reach for what was promised to him.

Nothing would ever be more than a means to an end. A pawn on his board, cleverly moved into strategic positions that would benefit him-- and only him-- either now or later.

Still, somewhere, in the deep dark depths of his heart, there is a sliver of warmth, channeled only when looking to his grandson, Rhyari. And even then, Arethil cannot help but feel like it might not be as genuine as Lord Elauthin makes it seem...
