feral skeletons have a bacteria on their teeth and usually claws that, when it gets into a wound, can cause the flesh to rot. this also quickly travels to the brain and causes the victim to go insane. because of this, it is called Feral Madness. it applies to humans and animals alike. even if the victim gets away from the skeleton hunters, the rot will still kill them. if the head is still intact once all of its flesh rots off, it will rise as a feral. most are mindless drones that are used at disposable scouts and hunters but some develope actual emotions. the smartest of ferals are Soot Ferals. they are black in color and are usually hunted by normal ferals.
