Aegis was sent off at a young age to fend for himself, and thus had to learn how to survive. As time went on, the Skydancer became stealthy and could stalk his foes in the dark before ambushing them, earning him the reputation of being an assassin. He stumbled across the clan by pure chance and decided to stay so he could practice his skills.

Aegis is quiet and often looks at the fine details rather than just the whole picture alone. He is also quite intelligent and has a fine memory. The skydancer also has a knack for navigating completely in the dark; he sometimes leads dragons home that got lost in the dark or a storm.
