Biography

Decaal is the more motivated of the two founding dragons. The clan really was founded on a dumb crush which turned into a rather nice relationship. She often finds herself frustrated by Thraxxus' lackluster hunting skills, seeing as he'd much rather play with the fish that he finds rather than bring it back to the nesting grounds, Decaal simply doesn't understand his lack of drive to hunt.
Originally from a land of blight and shadows, the border between the ocean, the scarred wasteland and, the tangled wood. Food was often too diseased or just an illusion of shadows and the sparkle of near by water. Decaal almost compulsively hunts for food and hoards anything that looks like it would store well... even if she personally cannot eat it. Then again anything she considers food tends to run away. Plants are a novelty to her and little else.
The few items that she keeps in her hoard are what she considers to be magical, dice carved from dragon bone, long thin bones from the sails of certain fish for scrying, the shining carapace of a large insect as an offering bowl, shells strung up on the ceiling of the long winding caves to detect malicious spirits, many stones arranged in great many patterns or runes in mystic instructions on what brews and insects to eat when to enhance her future capabilities in defending her home.
She often patrols the area of her new clan's territory to keep out anything that she personally views as a threat. Many dragons from the shifting expanse have gotten a fright from Decaal suddenly emerging from the waters to warn them of their encroaching upon nesting lands. She's not all that kind to those who hail from the ash fall wastes, often spraying approaching fire dragons with cold cold water and buffeting them with storm like winds. Her abilities come from constant practice on increasingly taller pillars of rock and sometimes larger prey.
Decaal often takes the time to bring her mate into the loamy cave they both have dug for a good nap away from the beating rays of the sun at it's zenith. It's really the only time she takes to relax.
