And so he becomes all that he ever wanted,
all that he ever dreamed
But still the loneliness inside him grows
As he wonders if this was meant to be.

Athos came to New Provenance as a whelp to live with his father Mtynyr, the Royal Scribe to King Venatu. The young dragon became fascinated by his father's work, and by the time he was of age, his father took him on as his apprentice. Athos' driving purpose became his training to become the Royal Scribe after his father. He consumed himself in books, writing, and studying his father's interactions with Venatu.

Athos was a young adult when his father disappeared following the deaths of King Venatu and Queen Ophelia. Many speculate that the scribe was killed alongside the Lords of Provenance, but Athos believes otherwise. He senses his father still lives, and diligently watches for any word of him from each message sent to the Palace.

With his father absent, Athos has had to step into the position of Royal Scribe. He feels woefully under prepared to take on the high responsibility so unexpectedly prematurely. However, with the aid of the Council and his gradually improving relationship with Badar, Athos has done exceedingly well. As the Skydancer continues to grow he settles further into his role as scribe, outlining a bright future for himself and the kingdom.

Fisk
Frostbite Hummingbird

Fisk was a gift to Athos from his mother before he moved to New Provenance as a reminder of his home in the Southern Icefield. He is a quiet and gentle companion, and can most often be seen perched on Athos' shoulder.
