Firn is obsessively in love with Ebony, so much so that he bought a headdress like hers and is trying to adapt his lifestyle to match. Ebony's weariness around strangers is a big hurdle in the way of Firn's dreams, as she finds his obvious obsession to be more suspicious than charming.

Firn has always been a rigid and stubborn dragon who tends to make extreme plans and not give up on them, and this is a clear example of that. He also has a more shy and sensitive side that he tries not to show around others.
