Garnet had a fairly average life before she joined the clan. She grew up in the abiding boneyard and knows the land fairly well. But she yearned for a better life elsewhere, and thus joined the clan. She quickly gained the respect of Akila and was made leader when the fae retired. But Garnet was brought down when she was infected by a deadly disease. No one knows where it came from, though some speculate Blake ordered Widow to poison her. Regardless, the clan saw her as weak and she had her title stripped away from. Though she managed to recover after a few weeks, she still remains a source of controversy. Because of this, she is very distrustful and keeps her circle small, only associating with Akila and Sakura.
