Xeilis

Raised in the lap of luxury, Xeilis never felt hardship. He only knew the warm embrace of his lavish lifestyle, the comfort of fine silks and endless treasure. A strong influence over the Light Kingdom's middle districts left his family busy with work, though with a history of con artistry they'd swindled as much as they'd earned. Xeilis knew none of this, but he had his suspicions.

None of his wealth made him truly happy though it eased his lonely days. Neglect ran rampant in his home in all manner of things, and it was up to Xeilis to take care of it. He learned to clean and cook and fend for himself without a friend in the world.

It left him socially stunted, and very angry. Yelling didn't help, nor did kicking and screaming and begging, oh god please, why do I feel this way?

Eventually he didn't try, grit his teeth and bore it. But one day he couldn't take it, steeled hia nerves and ran away.

The streets became home, and the pampered, lonely pooch finally knew what it meant to live. He worked for his meal, slept in strangers' beds each night and travelled far away to the Fire Kingdom. He didn't understand how to deal with people, locked his emotions in a cage and never let them out. The cities there were more welcoming away from home, and soon enough he found employment at Starshine. It was Harley and Elliet that took him in this time, guilty from seeing him curled beneath the peach trees.

Never has Xeilis taken for granted their kindness, though the customs of the house battled with his morality. He didn't want to sell himself, but... but what else did he have? In the end, he accepted the terms and conditions.

He was partnered with Tallowin, their offspring surely fetching a high price. He wanted nothing to do with it. The humiliation showed, blossomed into hatred between them. Since, he and Tallowin have had bitter dispute.
