Point of Interest: Carrion Canyon
The arid desert must be playing tricks on you. You hear a figure in the distance, tinkering with a rock totem and kicking dirt from side to side. He digs a hole, which the wind promptly covers. Yet the old old man is determined. As you pass by him he pays you no mind, mumbling away while he prepares his incomprehensible ritual. You hear only a few things:

"Yea she was a wild one when she was little. I tried to keep her down but I'd tell her: Foluxo, get down from there, pappy doesn't like it when you go wild around the den like that.... Yeaa, I'd tell her, but she never listened, did she? She went off to do her own thing, mess up other homes, I guess..."

Yea, right, you think to yourself. This old man talking of the greatest known adventurer or this side of the Wasteland, as if he's her father or something. The biggest adventure he's ever had was getting drunk off sour fruits. You continue your journey through the perilous land.
