Like their brother before them, Morpheus has always taken their status as a future leader seriously. They began training under Banrai and Dreamweaver almost as soon as they had entered into adolescence, and continued their lessons well into adulthood. In fact, if you ask them, they'll tell you that they are still learning. The world of Sornieth is changing rapidly, in unpredictable ways, and it is Morpheus' view that they must be prepared to change with it.

To that end, they have sought knowledge from many of their clanmates, not always in matters of leadership. From Priyanka, they have learned to see what others cannot, so that they might heed the warnings of catastrophe. Abaddon has tutored them in hand-to-hand combat, as well as the use of several classes of weaponry, should their magic ever fail them. They have spent long hours with Shard Junior and Aberdeen, whose understandings of magical theory are unmatched, and have dabbled in many different branches of magic under the watchful eyes of the clan's Flight Representatives.

When the time comes for Phantasos to take up their parents' mantle, Morpheus will be there to advise and assist him, just as Dreamweaver's inner circle has done for them. There is no greater honor, Morpheus claims, than standing at their brother's side.

They hope that, perhaps, Phobetor will one day join them.
