Reion is quite the strategist and those within the group heavily rely on him for this. Many looked up to him in the past, and this proves to be true too for the future. Though he isn't the main lead, his insight is invaluable for their fight against The Abyss.

Risk Assessment

"Alright guys, I am only going to explain this once, so please listen closely. There is a lot to consider now that the group has been constructed. I know not everyone is 100% up to speed, but we must begin our planning for going after The Abyss. The quicker we get this done, the quicker we can go on our own ways if we so choose to. Me? Why, I might just settle down here in this clan and relax once everything is said and done." There was a long pause as every dragon in the group kind of gave him a blank stare. Jura gave a small giggle, breaking the silence which causes Reion to proceed.

"First we need to cover what the threat is. Right now we have no idea if this thing is dragonmade or environmental. We also have to be aware of whats around us as well. The weather will also prove to be an environmental threat as well if we do not time this precisely and hopefully other clans or dragons do not get in our way or discover what is going on before we can act. This incident will be kept and classified as internal, rather than external. Even though we have obtained some allies, they have been paid off and may even stay within the clan when this is all finished. That has been unspecified."

This information clicked with some and went over the heads of others. Layex let a bit of spark leave his claw out of agitation then shimmed in. "We should also be aware of the waters around the island, Clover, and other dangers within the island and the assume ruins. I know it is hard to say what that might be as we have never set foot on that island, but it should also be brought into play." Reion was nodding his head in agreement with this whole block of information, agreeing that it, indeed, is all important to consider.

"That is right, Clover would be a 'dragonmade' threat while the waters, ruins, and island dangers would be environmental. Clover will be an annoyance at best, however, as I think only one of us will be needed to take her down. We can allow Rhormun to take care of Clover since he is not on the official team. That does not mean diminish his strength or abilities. We will send him over with Nova as it is always best to be at least in pairs. You never know what could happen." Oki, the New Age King, agreed with all of this as well.

Reion then continued on with the assessment. "Since we covered the risks which we will be exposed to, we now need to cover the risks that mainly need to be addressed. Obviously the most concerning ones are Clover, the Ruins, and then The Abyss. I am not worried about anyone on the team backstabbing or running off either, even though that could possibly happen. As far as outside dragons coming in, again, thanks to the pirate crew we have on our side, this should not be an issue. They will cover the water. Jura has DEFECTIVE, Camo, Asgore, and Luccio on land. This should be more than enough to cover the overall area and if reinforcements from the clan are needed, they can be quickly called in."

Reion quickly went into numbers, causing some brains to go a bit fuzzy. "So we just need to figure out the Annual Loss Expectancy is all. This way we can reduce risks and damages as much as possible. This isn't so hard to do. The clan overall is small and the resources are stockpiled high meaning we will have to heavily protect the food sources mainly. Most of the dragons within the clan can fight, save for a few. To find ALE, you first need Single Loss Expectancy and Annual rate of Occurrence." Solaris was clearly getting agitated at this and had no understanding on what was even going on. The light primal was ready to chime in and ask Reion to move on, but he knew better and simple scowled at the floor.

Runesoul, however, could read the room perfectly and could feel his comrades getting antsy. "Reion, I don't think the food will be targeted at all. Sure, it could be accidentally damaged in the chaos, but the most important thing right now is life loss and Abyss escape. I understand you wish to cover all ground, but for the sake of everyone in the room, maybe for this meeting it best to keep to the point. I am sure a select few of us can go over details later." Reion again nodded through the entire thing, knowing this all to be true, then glancing up at the ceiling as if trying to convey apology for getting too carried away.
