ROLE

Cerolohn's role within the clan is simple: make sure people don't die or get seriously ill. And, luckily, he takes his job very seriously. Long years spent studying means that Cerolohn has a strong base of knowledge in symptoms of illness, cures and keeping people alive.
Despite having a profound love of herbs in his healing remedies, however, Cerolohn prefers the power of magic in his healing. He finds it a lot more efficient, and it is rare that it will fail him- or have many side-effects.
Being an Imperial makes him very aware of his mortality, despite his confidence in his ability to stick around for a while longer. Due to this, he is desperate to find an apprentice to pass his knowledge onto, as it is knowledge cultivated through years of practice, and not studying some old tomes.

PERSONALITY

As one would expect from someone who hails from the domain of the Stormcatcher, Cerolohn is a no-fuss, all-business kind of individual. Taking things too literally to the point where it becomes a fault, Cerolohn`s humour is rather dry and deadpan. Otherwise, he speaks quite directly, with a blunt honesty that one has to admire... But not necessarily enjoy.
His moments of goofiness are few and far between, but when they do occur, everyone around is in for a good laugh. He doesn't mind being the laughing stock with some antics he pulls, instead laughing alongside them until he goes back into his sullen and serious self.

Even though Cerolohn has a penchant for starting debates- which you can be sure he will win and win properly- and habit of holding minor grudges, it becomes apparent that he doesn't have an innate hatred for anyone. Even if one has wronged him, Cerolohn will still end up treating them with surprising respect, meaning that it is rare he stays in long-standing feuds; just because he is honest doesn't mean he can be charmingly polite at times, meaning that it is hard to have arguments drag on with him.
Instead, Cerolohn will much rather just silently judge someone who has wronged him instead of arguments, as they waste time and energy he could be spending on helping to heal those who rely on him.

RELATIONS

There is only one family member that Cerolohn stays in good contact with, and that is his older sister, Corrux. Even if he doesn't say it often, Cerolohn does miss her whenever she leaves him after one of her fleeting visits. Mournful that she doesn't stay by for much longer.

Outside of family bonds, Cerolohn is fast friends with Petal. Not only do they often work together at times, but Petal is one of the few that appreciates Cerolohn`s dry humour- and, rarer still, has won Cerolohn`s admiration by being able to crack jokes at him even when he is in one of his fouler moods.

Another close friend of his is Oni, the warrior who has many stories to share. Not only does he place a lot of trust in the Fae- who remains as the only soul Cerolohn has told about his involvement with his sister's illegal activities - but the old Fae's love for sharing stories and wise lessons manages to keep the healer enthralled with their stories.

Quite unlike what anyone would think of the aloof Imperial, Cerolohn is rather a hopeless romantic. Currently lovestruck and pining over Palessa, Cerolohn often tries to talk to her, but his courage fades at the last moment, leaving him a stammering mess around Fagan when he noticed her nearby.
Compared to his usual self, Cerolohn's helplessness is almost comical.

CRIMINAL LIFE

Cerolohn himself does not actually get involved with committing a crime - he finds it to be too risky and not worth the hassle. He enjoys his rather peaceful life as a healer without someone calling for his arrest. Despite this, he is often persuaded by his sister, Corrux to help her out. This help can come in the form of hiding stolen items until she is able to retrieve them safely, or even keeping her safe and removed from others if she is in trouble.
While he wishes he was not so involved and depended upon, Cerolohn is just happy to actually be able to see his remaining family once in a while.
