Zan has served a lot of double duty as a scout and outrider in a way,
seeking out paths of least resistance, locating sections of interest or
danger, and snapping back without being seen if needed were in his
repertoire, right beside his fumbling, but earnest interest in the arts
of the forge have encouraged an elder Mason to pluck him up and tutor him.

Between his Forge Training endeavors, Zan currently helps
within Haven to repair and restore various projects of which there
are countless. It was he who stumbled into the Sanctuary on
accident during a scouting endeavor which would eventually lead
his master to settle here,.. Thankfully, Haven too was in a dire
need of them as much as they were in dire need of shelter and
a place to rest. After some deliberation, Heph struck up a deal
with the clan elder or something and now they were going to stay.
