Outer Entities
'Dragons' that, for the most part, exist outside of the current going-ons in S.A. Library. Two notable 'dragons' would be Karasu (who is the one currently behind the current strife within the library's hierarchy) and the Library itself. Karasu wants control over the Library's guests (for lack of a better term) and the Library wants Karasu out of it's walls.
Librarians
These were once a group of dragons collected by the Library to help feed it's hunger for knowledge. After Karasu's meddling, their priorities have warped, and now they're seeking out strong magic users alongside their original role. Any who try and hinder their new task are promptly replaced with a better version of themselves. At this time there is only one true Librarian left within the ranks of doppelgangers and they are terrified of being found out (even with the Library helping to hide them).
Creators
Creators are dragons (or entities in the case of Karasu) who have figured out how to wield the wild magic within the library and add their own magic to it; giving the Character a stronger, more permanent, tie to the real world. However, doing so can be detrimental to their (Creators) overall health in the long-run, so this is something not done without foresight.
Characters
Characters are a by-product of the Library's current disarray. They are quite literally characters (from stories/scrolls/legends) brought to life from wild magic running within the Library's walls. Characters cannot leave the Library's walls or the wild magic they live off of fades, killing them. They only exceptions to this rule are Characters that have been aided by a Creator.
Guardians
Guardians are residents/characters/Librarians/outer entities that have prior knowledge to the current strife within the library's walls or have figured it out for themselves and are working to remove the Library from Karasu's clutches before she can do permanent damage to both the Library and any who may come in contact with it. The self-appointed Guardians have three goals in mind: remove Karasu's control over the warped Librarians, protect those who are unaware of the dangers they face when interacting with/within the current warped Library, and make sure Karasu never leaves the Library's walls as she will definitely become a scourge upon Sornieth.
General Residents
General Residents are just as they sound. They are guests of the Library and are allowed permanent room and board in exchange for their efforts in creator-research, gatherers of knowledge, traders/merchants, etc. For the most part, these guests are unaware of the dangers they face in the current running of the Library.
