The 2nd Commander of the Gorgon clan, and loyal mate of Blake. (He loves his goth wife.) Francis is slightly less headstrong than Tigereye, but still a trusted warrior. He's very affectionate towards his family and goes to visit them often when he's not on duty. It's also an unspoken (but widely known) rule among the ranks of the clan that Francis is the favorite of the three commanders, mostly because he tends to go easy on the newbies. It's a wonder he's placed above Bunonia considering his hospitable nature compared to her and Tigereye, but that just goes to show his effectiveness and efficiency in battle. It's almost as if he turns on a switch and is just... a completely different dragon. Some hypothesize this is because he's the son of two highly influential dragons in the clan, namely Dawnset. Francis couldn't catch a break as a hatchling and often got lectured by his strict father. He ended up taking after his mother Atlantic more, whereas his brother Neophyte is closer with Dawnset. Despite his mild nature, Francis also has a... rivalry, let's call it, between himself and his younger brother Neophyte. He didn't really START the rivalry, but he'll be godsdamned before he lets that hothead get the better of him. His youngest sister Sayu thinks they're both ridiculous. Francis can be a slight glutton at times and has an enormous sweet tooth. He and Michi regularly swap recipes with each other. |
