dMKhLV1.png Asahi was a dragon born in the Scarred Wasteland, his mother a practitioner of magic, and his father a noble scholar for their clan. That said, Asahi had no interest in calling such a harsh place his home, and held no interest in either of his parents' pursuits. He was the farthest thing from talented with magic, and scholarly work was incredibly boring.

The Coatl's true calling, as he later came to discover, was the art of combat. He was a skilled fighter, able to use his plumage as a distraction to gain an advantage over his opponents. This was what opened the gateway for him to eventually travel through the Tangled Wood, and into the Sunbeam Ruins-- Where he met The Spirited Allegiance.

Izunami's teachings caught his interest, and so he decided to hang around, offering his combat abilities to protect the Guardian's charge.
