Biography

angel hub

"Come with me Vaaro. My home is much warmer in the winter," Yperil said, with an air of confidence. Her voice soothing as the little hatchling stood between her and Morros in his garden. Yperil looked at Morros, willing him to help convince their daughter to live with her instead.
He seemed resignedly sad.

"Yes, Vaaro. My home is.. not very warm this season. But you're free to come by anytime of course," he hastened to add, smiling at them both, halfway pleading.
Vaaro still seemed very torn, but turned to walk with her mother. Yperil gave a grateful nod at Morros. "We'll see you in spring," she said curtly. Vaaro made a little parting noise at her father, but followed her mother.
They didn't turn to see Morros' defeated slumped shoulders, or the way the wind seemed to pick up in the trees behind them.

Yperil and Morros have many children together, but their "relationship" is a mutual understanding at best. It's difficult to say why either of them continue what they do, but there are many cultural differences as to why dragons get hatchlings. It's a way of nature, but it's not always nature's way to keep the parents in a tight-nit relationship.

Yperil is a free-spirited dragon bound by the laws of the council in the Radient eye. Her place lies with the work she does, and she does not have the patience to live in one place like Morros does.
She's always got time for her children, though, and sees it as her sworn duty to help them find their place in the world; more through given independence than constant supervision.
