Biography
 Athena of Ichor Shores Priestess, War Herald of Shadow - Wending Wood Stern, unforgiving. Conformist. A very conservative follower of the Shadowbinder, Athena disapproves with every fiber of her being of the Council of Flights and the religion of the Unified Gods. Considers it her personal mission to bring as many dragons back towards their isolated faiths. While she has never personally led a battle, her appointment to the Heralds was universally supported by the organization. |

History
Born in the Wispwillow Grove to a family long thought to be descended from the Shadowbinder herself, Athena was raised according to tradition as a potential for exaltation. A weakness in her wings prevented her from seeking the call in her third summer along with her nestmates. She had said goodbye to them with great bitterness as they entered the Forum... but as she turned around she was confronted by an elderly Mirror. He had been crowned in a shimmering emblem and stared down at her with doom in his eyes. "There is but one path for you." His four eyes gleamed in the darkness, shadow-blessed, as he trust a claw towards a poster some deluded fool had dared to affix to one of the outer walls. It was a religious unity poster! Children were gathered around it. "The Unified Gods?" One was saying.  |

 Students Athena has never dared to breed in Algidir, terrified her children will be born of another element. Instead she contents herself with teaching the children of Wending Wood her faith. Loyalty to only one dragon god was the only way to defeat the Shade. Like many shadow dragons, she sees the shade as a mockery of their god. Though many dragons disagree with her, the more traditional are glad for her strong influence upon their hatchlings. |
