Biography
Personality: Calm/Level-headed/Wise/Strict/Kind/Helpful/Stubborn
Background: Surana was born into an Ice Clan that maintained a nomadic lifestyle. Rather then settling in one area, they would travel across the the vast expanse of the Southern Icefield, following the changing of the seasons. During their travels, while she was still a young hatchling, her clan had made a temporary stop far up north, at the border of where the Southern Icefields and Starfall Isles touched. Entranced by the foreign territory, Surana had wandered from where her clan had made stop, crossing the border, and begun to explore. In her immense curiosity, she lost track of time, as well as her location and when she began to tire and wanted to return to her clan, she realized she was lost. After much panicked searching, running around and crying, Surana had effectively lost her clan and her way back home to the Southern Icefields. She sat and wailed loudly for awhile until another dragon followed her cries and discovered the weeping hatchling, an elderly Fae. The old Fae was beside herself with empathy when she had managed to calm Surana enough to get her to explain her predicament and allowed Surana to stay with her in her den. For the first week, Surana and the old Fae would head back to the border everyday in search of her clan, but by the end of the week, Surana had accepted the fact that they were likely already long gone by now. She lived with the old Fae after that, treating her like an adoptive grandmother, and the old Fae taught her many things about flora and fauna, more specifically, about the poisons and toxins that came from them. Surana learned all about toxicology and how to make poisons, medicines, poultices, potions, etc. When she had finally reached adulthood, she was pretty much an expert on the subject, however, whatever little teaching she had left was cut off by the death of her dear granny Fae, whom had grown ill with a sickness neither knew of nor could cure. On her own, Surana began to wander and wander, until she made her way from the Starfall Isles, through the Scarred Wasteland, and finally to the Tangled Woods, where she met Barrow. Her meeting with Barrow was a fateful one, and from there they grew into friends, and then, into lovers. They became official mates after Barrow introduced her to his clans leader Lilith, who allowed her into the clan. She now is toxins/medicines specialist of the clan, as she both studies and creates various medicines, poisons, etc.
