Mandarin is an inquisitive Mirror dragon. He can be a bit absent-minded, but he's the clan's resident scholar, and he enjoys learning about the natural world. If you ever need to pawn off a book or scroll to anyone in exchange for some coin, this dragon probably has you covered. He is the proprietor of the Calpernese Public Library. He prides himself on his collection of manuscripts, scrolls, and other records of knowledge, and is ready to share, pawn off, and trade it with anyone who visits.

Mandarin loves his students, Cairo and Calathea, and has enjoyed teaching them what he knows so much, that he might want to expand his horizons. He's a librarian, yes, but he wonders if he'd make a good teacher too; knowledge is such a precious thing, and its value increases when it's shared.
