Avellatur Absolutely Lost It was odd to see a dragon of plague be born to fire To some within his clan, he was a horrible omen that would bring pestilence. To others, he was an opportunity for change. His birth served as a vital turning point within the clan. He grew up either hated or pitied by those around him. Once he was old enough to form coherent sentences, those that sought to change the clan away from the traditions swooped in. He was given scripts-both for what he should say and how he should act. He was guided throughout every point in his life and used as an influence among the clan. He spoke, but the words that spilled from mouth confused him. He did not understand what he said, but others liked him for it. So, he would continue to serve those that ordered him about. The clan successfully dethroned the brutal leaders by more diplomatic means, which left the seat open for a new leader. Avel was a little too influential; He became the face of the clan. He looked for a hand to hold, but found that nobody would help him. As to be expected, he was a terrible leader. Stress, confusion, and the pressure of suddenly being looked down on rather than raised on a pedestal drove the coatl to flee to the center of The Great Furnace, where many assumed he burned to a crisp. |

Curious Case File Loved by Fire
Avellatur is, in fact, not dead. He resides in the depths of The Great Furnace away from other dragons. He spends his time as a blacksmith, creating weapons, armors, tools, and even fine works of art from metals. He has a complete and total immunity to the affects of fire. He cannot be burned nor overheated, despite the fact that dragons born of Fire don't even have full immunity to the flames of their forge. He can wade through molten lava as if it were merely water and shift metals with ease as they're bright white and malleable with heat. Weapons and armor made by him yield excellent quality and are often marked with the symbol of a fiery rose. How they end up distributed is unknown.
