Aster is a very reclusive Imperial that can't stay in one place for very long. His instinctual desire to travel and explore led to him abandoning his small clan hidden away deep in The Tangled Wood.

The many years he spent away from his clan didn't sate his hunger for travel, though he found himself tangled up in the southernmost parts of the world, having flown too far, out from the lands he come to know. He returned back to The Tangled Wood with the help of mages, though his body and wings sustained a magical frostbite that rendered him incapable of flying long distances.

While his home clan had dispersed to nothing, he found family in another.
