Most of the clan fears Zahra nearly as much as they do Cyneburh. Though not as haughty or cruel as the matriarch, she can be just as brutal if not more so, and has earned the respect of many of the other dragons in the clan. A warrior through and through, she prefers to command through action rather than words, and therefore doesn't speak much. She is, however, more benevolent and forgiving than Cyneburh, and disapproves of the matriarch's cruel and occasionally violent brand of discipline.

Her hatred of Cyneburh has only grown as of late, as she suspects the cruel matriarch of having sent her mate to his untimely death as a form of punishment for her rebellion. She mourns Faruq, and wears the scraps of his scarf in remembrance of him--it was all she was able to recover. She now seeks revenge for the loss of her beloved.
