Lets get it out of the way already, Cyclonus is not a Decepticon. And he is definitely not an Autobot. He's just your regular run of the mill, 8 million-year-old robot who misses the glorious Cybertron before the Great War. While his personality is usually distant & gruff, Cyclonus does actually care about what's going on! He's just... emotionally constipated.

These traits of his would lead to Cyclonus taking a painstakingly long time to express his feelings to Tailgate, a little Autobot with a huge heart. It only took the latter to almost die for him to spill the beans.

Oh, and there was a time in which he wanted to murder Whirl to death but those times have long passed. They're pals now!
