PERSONALITY:
Aphrodite is an energetic dragon, and she very effectively funnels it into her work. She's hardy and passionate, and buff as all heck. She can be pretty chatty, even while working, though she has a tendency to babble and may or may not notice people coming or going.

She manipulates the color of her fire with magic, and primarily uses green fire. Although she uses magic to recolor her fire, she additionally carries a variety of chemicals that can burn colored fire. This is a habit born of one too many Stormcatcher Industries employees asking her about her colored fire.

Her hammer is always at her side, and she can wield it in combat just as well as she can at the forge. Her secondary weapon is her affinity for puns. They're horrid.

HISTORY:
Aphrodite, like many of her flightmates, loves fire and the things that can be wrought with it. From birth, she was steeped in a metallurgist culture. She embraced it with both hands, playing with tools until she was old enough to wield them properly. The day she got her first toolkit remains an especially fond memory.

Once, as a kid, a traveling alchemist from the Shifting Expanse visited Aphrodite's clan. The alchemist used funny materials to color the fires. It was as if Aphrodite was awakened to a whole new language. She fixated on the magic of colored fire, and studied to use it herself. The green was her favorite from the start. It contrasted so much from the oranges and reds of mundane fire. She put in extra work to wield green fire.

Eventually, Aphrodite's clan merged with another. It wasn't the smoothest of transitions, and Aphrodite decided she'd rather leave to carve her own path than stay and submit to new rules made by new people for new reasons and new goals. She looked to the Shifting Expanse, from where that alchemist had come. She didn't think she'd ever meet them again, but maybe she could find something there.

She met a fellow Fireling, a merchant on the road to a clan called Stormbay. It was apparent that he didn't expect company on his journey, but Aphrodite didn't let that stop her from tagging along. The other Imperial had made the mistake of mentioning a hub of trade, and what better place to get a leg up on life in the Stormcatcher's domain?

As it turned out, Stormbay boasted only a small number of Fire dragons, none of whom were half as handy at the forge as Aphrodite. She set up shop right there, and persists as the clan's primer metalworker to this day.

CURRENT PLOTS:
Aphrodite is most commonly found at her forge. If she's not working on a project, then she's working on her facilities. There's always room for improvement.

Is friendly with Abel, who sells Aphrodite's wares for her in exchange for a cut of the profits.
