After Emerys spent many happy years with his mate Kahi, he decided make his beloved son Ormarr equally happy and find him a mate. Smaug quickly caught his eye and being quite the smooth talker, he persuaded Smaug to come and meet the clan. The clan's wild ways were perfect for the passionate and high tempered Smaug. Ormarr less. Ormarr's adventurous and yet calm character didn't really seem to fit with Smaug's.

Smaug is one of the most unpredictable members of the clan, at one moment peaceful and raging the next, which is why she was never given any position or task in the clan. No one knows if she will leave one day, or stay forever.
