A well travelled warrior Bowen founded the clan-among-the-wires for dragons looking to belong. Even though he was born in wiretangle walk and eventually returned there, the metalworkers of the Blacksand Annex fascinated him and since witnessing the Great Furnace in action he has sought to recreate it in his own way. After running into Mermadi on his way back to the Wiretangle Walk and letting Canopus stay with them he has somewhat unknowingly become the leader of the-clan-among-the-wires and uses the crafting techniques he's learnt to expand the ball of wires the clan calls a lair and makes any items the clan needs.
