Biography

Zap serves Erendiria because she funds his experiments. He lost his legs in a machinery accident and used his skill as an engineer to regain his mobility. He has a fear of heavy machinery as a result of the accident. His legs make use of springs to absorb and release force to assist with movements. His legs are able to respond to his intentions like actual limbs because they are tapped into his nervous system via a pair of cords that tap into his limbs above where he lost them. He has experimented on many of Erendiria's damaged thralls, which was integral to designing the limbs to respond with the proper amount of force, rather than simply all or nothing responses.
He is single minded in his pursuit of knowledge and advancement. Methods do not matter to him, only results. He is not enthralled, as that would reduce his value to Erendiria to next to nothing.
