From the moment Lillia was born, she was destined to be a healer. Lillia, unlike most dragons in Raven’s lair, was born in the clan. Her parents were Violet and Okusamathu - two well-known dragons across several lairs. Because of this, Lillia and her two other siblings, Lillith and Lilac, were very popular hatchlings.
As they grew and developed their own personalities the became quite the team. When all three of them worked together, they were nearly unstoppable. Lillith was known for her intelligence and quick-wit. She analyzed every situation or question the triplets faced. Many expected the young intellectual to become a scholar.
Lilac was a fierce warrior. His answer to every problem was a fight. Lilac was not one to let go of grudges easily. If anyone ever tried to hurt someone he cared about, he was there to defend them.
Lillia had a heart of pure gold. She had a connection with every living thing in Sornieth (yes, even plants). She could calm the heart of the fiercest dragons. Teach empathy to the coldest souls. You could almost call her the glue that bonded the siblings. When Lillith examined a situation from a logical standpoint, Lillia would observe from a loving standpoint. When Lilac threatened to hurt another living being, Lillia calmed him down and convinced him against it. Before she was young enough to form a sentence, the clan noticed this. They knew exactly what to do.
After Violet and Okusamamthu observed Lillia’s behavior, they decided to talk to the clan healer, Stonecoil. Though Stonecoil was young and healthy and did not need an apprentice, he decided to take Lillia on as soon as he heard about her. Lillia’s empathetic qualities were exactly what he needed in an apprentice.
Before Lillia started school, she began training with Stonecoil. He taught her about healing herbs and bandages. How to grind up plants to create ointments. He even showed her where the rarest herbs grew abundantly. Stonecoil, who she spent every day with, was like a second father to her.
When she came of age, Lillia started school with her siblings and a few other dragons born around the same time as them. Though Lillia did not have trouble in school, she didn’t seem to have the same types of gifts as Lilac and Lillith. Lilac excelled in coliseum training and Lillith did astonishingly well in subjects like math and science. Unfortunately for Lillia, they did not teach healing at school.
With the support of her parents and Stonecoil, she dropped out of school and went back to training with Stonecoil. Now that she was older, she not only studied medicine, but she also got the chance to use it. With Stonecoil watching carefully over her shoulder, she treated cuts, burns, fever, and much more! After she had treated what seemed like thousands of sicknesses, Stonecoil decided she no longer needed supervision. Now she worked beside him, not below him. Lillia was officially a healer.

Ever since she became a healer, her life was pretty normal. Other than patching up Lilac’s battle scars quite frequently, and the feeling that several animals were watching her, nothing peculiar went on. Sadly, Lillia didn’t see Lillith very much anymore. She always seemed to be out studying whatever it was that she researched.
One day, when Lillia was tempted to find Lillith herself, her sister came to her bearing quite the surprise. Lillith was pregnant. In fact, she was almost ready to give birth. Lillia asked who the father was but her sister refused to tell.
Eventually, the time came for Lillith to go into labor. She gave birth to triplets. Two Pearlcatchers and a Skydancer. This was alarming to Lillia because there had never been any male Pearlcatchers in their clan. When she asked Lillith about the father a second time, she told her sister what she knew. This time, Lillith had no choice but, to tell the truth.
Lillith had fallen in love with a dragon from another clan. A Pearlcatcher. Lillith described him as the only patch of light in a clan of shadows. She told Lillia about how she and Maple, her mate, decided that when their babies were born, Lillith would move to Maple’s clan. This was devastating for Lillia to hear. She would have to say goodbye to her sister forever.
Lillia held back tears as she helped Lillith to escape with her hatchlings. They had concocted a cover-up story that the would tell everybody, even Lilac, Violet, and Okusamathu. Lillia suppressed a cry as Lillith’s tail disappeared into the darkness. They both knew that they would never see each other again.
It took Lillia a long time to get over the agony of losing a sibling to another clan, but she was still able to care for her patients like normal. Carrying out her duties as though nothing had happened.
Fortunately for Lillia, according to the rules of luck, nothing terrible was to happen to her for a long time to come.
