Daemona

Yet Daemona never did.





No one knows where Daemona's obsession for eating other dragons came from; it was just there when she was born.
She was only very little when all of her sisters that still lived with her and her parents disappeared. And when Daemona had grown up and was old enough to leave home, she got into an argument with her mother. The next morning, her mother had disappeared - and so had Daemona.
Her father, Brawny, had known that Daemona had a dragon eating problem, for her had it, too. He had eaten all of his former mates, and had finally gotten over it when he met the dragon of his dreams, Daemona's mother, Summitty. None of their children had it - except Daemona. And he had known that Daemona had eaten her siblings - and that night, her mother.
He wasn't sure, however, where Daemona had gone. He hadn't thought that Summitty could have eaten her, but no traces of them, bodies or blood, was anywhere in their lair. He did know, however, that if he ever did find his devilish daughter, he'd repay her for killing his mate.

Daemona was the only one who knew - everything.
That night, she had eaten her mother, then made sure she had left no traces for her father to follow, because she knew that her father would kill her, literally, if he found Daemona still in the lair after she killed her mother. So she escaped into the night - never to be found again.



Her first mate was Morgoth, whom she was only living with so she could have as much dragon blood as she wanted. When they had their first children, she ate them. Morgoth found out, however, and was going to fight her to the death, but she flew away at night again, away from Morgoth, to find another home, dragons that didn't know her - more food.

She lived in many places, eating her fill until she was found out, then ran away to find somewhere else. Living as a dragon devil, she never regretted her life decision. After all, she was never afraid of the monster inside her - the flesh eating, dragon hungry, undeniably evil demon that resided there. She was Daemona.



And so this was how she lived her life, and soon she came to Sirion lair, who all, unfortunately, always tried to see the best in dragons.

Along her journeys, as well, Daemona met a Grove Piper, and captured him. Making him her servant, the Grove Piper, named Happsa, then knew her secret, but Daemona swore him to secrecy. Happsa, however, didn't keep his promise, and whenever Daemona and her mate had a nest, he would secretly tell other clans that they needed adopting, and quick, and then would bring the hatchlings to the clan who would adopt them at night.
