Marie's rarely seen outside her lair, which is sectioned off sharply from the quarters of any other dragon. It's strewn with forgotten projects, with its only regularly touched items being her desk and bed. She lives out most of her life in these tight confines, reading and writing obsessively.

She pines for attention and acceptance from others, but rarely shows herself to them. They never even get a chance to engage with her in the first place! She hopes that her art might impress them, but unwittingly sabotages herself there too. Her writings are quadruple-checked and rewritten many times, but she is always dissatisfied with them. Most of her finished creations end up only being read by one or two of her trusted friends. The rest end up incomplete or fed to her familiar.
