Hel is a fighter for the clan. His long service in the Boneguard left him experienced in the art of war. During battles he often follows in Azrael's wake cleaning up survivors, those lucky (unlucky?) enough to get away the first time. He is a devastating fighter on his own, and is often deployed for contracts requiring a lot of firepower.

Hel stays mostly in the company of Azrael, who he both hates and reveres. Azrael was both his commanding officer in the Boneguard and partner, they served together over a century before Azrael slaughtered their entire battalion. When Hel came back he had nothing, no one, except Azrael. The one who was both his whole world and the one who destroyed it. But if Hel was anything, he was loyal. He abandoned the Boneguard to join the clan with Azrael. Their relationship is fundamentally broken, but neither can stay away from each other. Counter to Azrael's hard and conceited nature, Hel is more withdrawn and rarely speaks.

Hel is an emperor but an unusual one. He has no extra limbs or heads, and seemingly remains mostly himself. There is something noticeable off about him, an unnatural aura that keeps most other dragons away.

Helvetesfonster was once proud, once trusted. Ties forged and bound in blood. A century of war to hammer away the softness. There was no room for weakness in the Boneguard, no tolerance. Death always lurked one misstep away. Hel endured, its what he has always done.

The betrayal was sudden and thorough. Azrael tore through everything they had, their entire battalion gone in one night. Helvetesfonster was left dying in the dark, drowning in blood and regret. Many imperials died that day and he was not spared that fate. But pain was no stranger to Hel. There isn’t much to do about suffering other than to suffer it; he learned that long ago. He endured like he has always done, until he dragged himself back to life, to see another day. The only one left in the decimation (or so he thought...)

He was once proud. Once trusted. Now the whispers, the shouts, the condemning cry of 'emperor' followed his every move. Now he was called a monster. He left to follow the bloodied footprints of the betrayer. After all, monsters seek the company of other monsters.
