Maethra

the embodiment of primal spring. her wings are eaves of refuge, her bones twisting from beneath a cavity of flowers, and her eyes remind viewers of the ever-present perils found within nature. she is growth in its most primitive form, the offspring of two renouncing forces - destructive in intent, yet gentle enough to unfurl promises of new life.

a wandering spirit, she takes rest in this Nature-based clan. it is maethra who most often gathers young foundlings underneath her wings to raise as her own, as she is, despite seeming otherwise, remarkably maternal in nature. (she has also become somewhat fond of chocolate chip cookies but, really, that is neither here nor there now is it?)
