The Spy

When Deacon first arrived at his new clan he refused to speak of his past. He would only say that he was seeking a safe place to live. All he had to offer were his skills in reconnaissance and subterfuge.

After a few weeks, Deacon began to open up to other dragons and share stories of his past. Or so it seemed. But once the others started comparing notes, many of the details of his stories were contradictory and some even downright outrageous. When confronted, Deacon just shrugged and said, "You can't trust everyone." After this, most of the others in the clan don't take anything he says seriously and many just try to avoid him altogether. But his laid-back attitude and dry, sarcastic sense of humor have won him some friends, Despite his compulsive tendency to lie, Deacon's loyalty to the the clan does seem sincere.

As a Nocturne, Deacon is able to mimic any dragon he comes across, but he doesn't limit himself to those with whom he is currently in contact. He remembers every dragon he's met and can reproduce their personalities effortlessly. This makes it very hard to guess Deacon's true thoughts and feelings. On top of that, he is a master of physical disguise. While one might think his white hide would make him more noticeable, it is just a canvas that he can decorate to blend into any situation.

Though he socializes some, he mostly keeps to himself. No one's even sure where he built his personal den, and some suspect he has more than one.
