Wildbeast subspecies:

Wildbeast dragons originate from hybrids of Light and Earth dragons in the North and East of Sornieth, where they remain most common; struck by wanderlust, the first wildbeasts were outcasts from both flights, unfit for the sedentary life of monument-builders and classical scholars.

Once formed, the first wildbeast clans initially took refuge into the Veridian Labyrinth and this is the reason most wildbeasts developed a more primal nature than their flights of origin. They tend towards an ascetic lifestyle and are a nomadic breed, living in small to medium packs and never carrying more than necessary with them.

Wildbeasts do value the pursuit of truth more than other dragons, however they do not believe this should be confined to library halls or the study of ancient ruins; wisdom comes from all paths of experience. Lorekeepers and storytelling are essential to the preservation and transmission of wildbeast knowledge.

Morphs can vary depending on regions; colouration in particular tend to be influenced by habitat, with darker specimens occuring more often within the Veridian Labyrinth, while pale wildbeast dragons most frequent in the Sunbeam Ruins and Dragonhome.
