MATE
Bone lived a fairly normal life, for a plague dragon, surviving the harsh world and so on. Her clan lived along the rotrock rim, close to the Wyrmwound. One day she was out running with some other mirrors she thought were her friends, and one of them just.. Pushed her.

She briefly remembered that when a dragon was pushed in, sometimes they were okay, sometimes they weren't, and sometimes they just didn't come back. She doesn't remember much, other than the terrifying sensation of falling. She hadn't learned to fly yet, so she was hopeless. She blacked out.

After returning to consciousness and struggling to swim through the goopy material, Bone hauled herself out of the crater. Her eyes were held shut the entire time, mostly out of fear. Once she reached somewhat dry, normal land, she opened her first set of eyes, and then her second. And then another, and another, and another.

Bone was confused, terrified, and then amazed. She could see everything at so many angles it blew her mind. She could see behind herself, and with a swish of her tail change the angles again.
She sat there for several minutes, working out how to control her new eyes, practicing opening and closing them, and then headed off back home, to show everyone. Because, instead of being scared, Bone thought the eyes were plain awesome!

Instead of reacting with interest, however, Bone's clan reacted with disgust. They thought the mirror was a freak, even for plague standards, and wanted none of it. They put her up for 'sale' to the highest bidder, maybe they could make some gems by selling her to a freak show. Instead, though, Bone ran away, and ran and ran and ran, until she met Drift, and noticed that he also had the same interesting condition, albeit for a very different reason.

Currently, Bone works with her mate Drift for the bandit queen Kierra. Bone, herself, is a very good thief. She's never been caught in the act. Wonder why. She's much more nimble and swift than her towering mate, so she goes on raids and robberies frequently as a scout or lookout. She also blends into the darkness easily (provided she closes some or most of her eyes) and her ability to see infrared light makes her invaluable during night runs.
