Once upon a time, Fear had a name. A real name, anyway. He had a life. He had a wife, two precious little ones, and a very prestigious job as a high ranking official within a city that was leveled not years after he became their sole protector. He was sired in Sirallas, and as such, stayed there. He grew powerful through training and mentoring, and overall luck, and within months of shifting to a new city, he overthrew their entire government, and took a seat as a a council member without as much as looking back. He firmly believed that he could change the city for the better, replace poverty with riches, and rule with an isolated iron fist. Unfortunately hope was lost near the end of his term, as war broke out and the city was subsumed into the bandit raids, his people took up arms and fought to protect their homes and families. At the tail end of the battle, He, too took up arms and protected his people with every ounce of power he commanded. Known only as Eli, the man summoned a force that day that, when spoken of in stories, seemed wholly impossible. He called forth from the gods, and one answered. He wiped out the enemy force within a flash of white light, doing so also eviscerated his people, and he, survived with a wiped mind and not a single shred of memory as to who or what he was before the war. Alone, Eli was devoid of name, purpose, and leadership. He was a soul lingering within a devastated, empty city.. He found himself mulling mindlessly alone within the empty city for years, his mind twisted beyond power and loneliness. Eventually he began to re-acclimate himself with fear, with his abilities, and though now he couldn't recall his name, his purpose, or his family-- HE knew something was summoned of him, with a twisted mindset, he took up the mantle 'Fear' and started reading every single book in his town's library, armed with knowledge of impossible feats, and a horribly insane mindset, Fear took on the world by force, murdering people in cold blood at first, just to test his abilities, his knowledge, eventually he moved across the ocean and sought a job within any Syndicate that would allow his entrance. Today he's unstable at best, Eli is no more, and Fear has replaced his entire existence. He's venomous, dangerous, and ready to break some spines.
