AMAROQ - THE ICEBOUND ONE
For years, Amaroq guarded the Screaming Carvern, a place far below the Remnants' deepest lair tunnels. What was trapped within the ice, making those awful noises, remained unknown... Until the ice began to crack. And break. And shatter.
From within their frozen prison came the clans first Gaolers, hulking great dragons harking back to times past, the era before Tundras. Filled with gratitude towards Amaroq and the clan, for keeping them safe for all this time, the Gaolers now patrol the boundaries of the clan's inner territories.
Amaroq is regularly visited by his charges. Despite their mammoth size, he feels something of a paternal instinct towards them; the world has changed greatly since their imprisonment. He does all he can to explain the finer points of modern dragon society to them (although much of it still confuses him, too). Perhaps his almost Gaoler-like appearance is why they seem to trust him so much...
