She was very convincing at first, to the point that many of us had agreed. But we never realized... it would mean this.

When we realized she was talking about exaltion, something we all had agreed to never allow in our clan, we tried to back out. We did try. And, while some of us succeeded.. none of us were spared from some sort of trauma.

"You said yes... Therefore, your fate is sealed."

For those able to escape, they still hear the screams of the fallen, and that's all if you're lucky. For me....

For me... I wasn't so lucky. My siblings and I were pushed towards her, at the urge of our mother, who possibly will regret this day for the rest of her life. Two of us escaped I think.. I'm not sure, as a spiral I didn't know snatched me up. I just couldn't move.

I tried to save her.. my younger sister. She wasn't even named yet! She had so much life to live... but she had an injured leg.. She couldn't run, and she tripped. I tried to help her up, tried to save her.. but my older sister, she left us behind. If it wasn't for that spiral.. I would be with my little sister as well.

I left Paradise Island with the spiral, my savior. I couldn't look at my family the same, and I can't... I can't be near that priestess. Her eyes... they looked at me today.. the same way she did when she caught my sister. She smiled at me, but now I see how empty it is..

One day.. She will wish to be exalted.. but I won't allow her to have that special moment. I'll come back, to make sure she won't get that!
