SHARICE Vestibulum sagittis.
xxx A child of royal blood, born in Light and in Shade. Their affinity for their element is strong, giving them potential to grow and excel at nearly anything they put their mind to should they choose to put the work in needed to cultivate their skills.

The Shade within them lies dormant until something should trigger it to awaken. At that time, there is no way to predict how it will affect them, or what abilities they will gain due to it. One beneficial factor to it is that this strand of Shade is not typically malignant, but it is still no less dangerous, and it could potentially overwhelm its host if they are not trained to control it.

This child, however, was different. Malzahar and Amantia knew from the moment their eyes opened that the Shade within them was already awake, causing the typical hue of gold they would have possessed to present as a hue closer to brass. Tainted. Their parents and the Shade oracle, Serkalem, did all they could in hopes of helping the hatchling co-exist with their Shade before they went out into the world.
