MEANING OF NAME: This Spanish name is one of the several alternatives of the Sun god Helios who drives across the sky every day in a horse-drawn chariot.

Elio’s Personality:

______ Elio is a very brutal character, enjoying the pain and suffering from others. Although Tainted does keep him in check, having a tight latch on his leash to keep him from harming those that belong to his Clan. He truly does not care what happens to any of them, besides a few savory characters. Unlike most Elementals, he does not really express his feelings nor does he really feel anything other than pleasure in the misery of others. However, Galleon has seemed to pull a bit on his heart strings, convincing him to soften his outer shell towards her. The kind hearted Imperial almost has him won over, to the point that they shared their very first nest together.

Elio had mixed feelings over the young while they were still nestled within the hard shells to the egg, he cared for them, but he really felt the need to stay away from the eggs. Having heard stories of how some Plague Elementals infected the eggs and young of other Dragons, ultimately to the point of the diseases being fatal. However, because he stayed away from the nest he did not interact much with the hatchlings nor did he get to know them before they left the Clan to play their own part. He knows that this bothered Galleon greatly, she was very apparent in their lives, however short it may have been.

Although his heart and emotions do soften for the Imperial Female and even for his young, he cannot stand a lot of the other Dragons within his Clan. He enjoys being one of the Disease Keepers within the Clan, carefully using his Plague Elemental abilities to place different plagues and diseases on the Dragons that he needs information from. Most the diseases and Plagues that are given to others have cures, however there have been a few times that Elio took his talents a wee bit too far, killing the prisoners. But he also has the ability to use his fireflies to go down another dragon’s throat or airways to collect the disease that is brewing within a dragon. He then stores the disease within enchanted jars to study or to keep for a rainy day.
